Some of our larger ride on cars, like the beach buggies and land rover models, have big enough wheels to be used on most uneven surfaces like lawns or gravel. In fact, most of the bigger car models have rubber wheels, meaning they can ride on any surface. Our smaller ride on car model wheels are made of plastic, meaning they are better suited to flatter surfaces, like tarmac or flat, well-mown lawns.
Electrical Ride on Cars
Today’s parents are increasingly looking for toys that benefit their children. All toys bring joy, but modern families want playthings that really offer something meaningful to kids.
One obvious example of this is the ride on car toy. This has been a popular type of toy for decades, but today’s ride on toys have drastically improved what they have to offer the kids that use them. How? Check out these big benefits of today’s mobile toys:
Growing With Your Child
It can get exhausting and financially draining purchasing new toys every time your child hits a new developmental milestone. Imagine having to replace all of your baby’s favorite toys when they go from crawling to walking - and then again when they start learning to run, dance, and perform other milestone tasks. It could quickly become very expensive!
Thankfully, with today’s ride on car toys, you don’t have to do that. Many models of these toys offer grow-with-me features. This means that a toy that your crawling baby can push and pull as they play with it can also be used to help them learn to walk. Once they can walk easily, they can take a seat on these toys and ride them through the house or across the yard. Talk about a do-it-all toy!
Adding Excitement to a Versatile Toy
What can make the classic riding toy more exciting for today’s families and kids than even the prospect of not having to replace it every few months during early childhood? How about all electronic elements?
The electric ride on car isn’t a brand new idea. Originally popularized in the 1980s and 1990s, ride-on cars with electric motors are the kind of thing kids grew up dreaming of in a previous generation. Today’s electric ride on car has all of that kid-approved magic, plus the technical advancements that toy makers have added in recent years. What does that deliver? Top-quality toys that offer more features and more excitement than ever before!

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the ride on car be used on a lawn (off road)?
How fast do ride on cars go?
While all of our ride on cars have a range of speeds (starting at 3km per hour) the highest speed in any of our models is 6km per hour. This makes ride on cars great for developing a child’s spatial awareness and independence, whilst also giving parents and carers peace of mind that they are safe. The child won’t be able to gain enough speed to do damage to themselves or their environment.
How long does a ride on car take to charge?
The time it takes to fully charge one of our ride on car models depends on the size of the toy that’s been selected. Smaller ride on vehicles take up to 10 hours to charge fully, whilst larger models can take anywhere up to 15 hours to reach full charge.
